General description
Our trainings are performed in accordance with the requirements of Model Courses prepared by the International Maritime Organization. The elementary first aid training gives more theoretical and mainly more practical knowledge as the same elementary first aid training for roads. It is proved that at water accidents the medical assistance arrives often later, than it is necessary and it is possible, that the skipper has to control the breathing and functions of an injured person, to control bleeding, to treat fatal injured persons alone.
During the intensive training the candidates practice prevention of damages of health, what is to be done in case of heart-stop, suffocation, severe bleeding, burns, cranial and other wounds.
The trainings were approved, registered, and licensed by the Hungarian National Authority for Transport.
The Accreditation Committee for Training of Seafarers certified that these trainings are complied with the national and international STCW 95 requirements.
The head of the Training Centre is the only physician in Hungary who as instructor certificated in accordance with the IMO Model Course 6.09 Training Course for Instructors is permitted to perform these trainings.
